Let's face it, we all knew from day one that Rossi would be #1 and Stoner #2 on this top-10. After that, I didn't think it was quite so clear cut, but Lorenzo thoroughly deserves #3.

He made some massive (and spectacular!) errors, but that's because he was really pushing himself and finding out what the bike was capable (or not quite capable) of. He showed some real raw talent that was very exciting to watch.

He's also, somehow, turned from being a loathsome arrogant swine into a matured, humble, respecting, but no-less charging rider, which has been a pleasant, welcome surprise.

Morgue...towards the middle of the 2008 season, Honda was doing some really weird things with their Satellite teams and that was giving them parts that was from their factory bikes....I can bet that Dovi was riding some sort Factory type bike as a guinea pig and not some crap type bike as you put it. There is no way he could have pulled off staying in from of Nicky on the straights without some choice Factory parts.

He asked for parts but was denied, the Gresini team is first when it comes to new stuff.
Besides that his bike was based on the 2007 proto and the HRC team was already riding totally different stuff, other chassis, engine etc.
I think he will have to get used to the Bridgestones a bit and then it's party time :)
He is also well known for the quality of the feedback he gives, he could be a good development rider but really never had equipment and support like what he's getting in '09. Just hope Puig stays out of his way...

I think Lorenzo is arrogant. Hayden should be 3 because we are talking about a poll about stars..
Lorenzo is a good rider who rides well, but I don't think he has the quality of a star..
Hayden is the super star of moto gp like it or not:
Charismatic
handsome
hot
nice
and he is a fun guy...

Jorge is a budding superstar! watch the way and the places he overtakes, very much like G.O.A.T! although he didnt say much, from what other riders on Michelin had to say (Edwards was one) the tires tended to let go for no apparent reason, The team certainly blamed tires for the crash in the US, Dovi certainly has approached moto gp in a different way and I predict bright futures for both of these young guys in moto gp, good to see the Hayden fan club out again, sorry but Hayden is not a super star of Moto GP, there are 2 riders at present who are THE super stars and they finished 1 & 2 in the championship!

I'm from Mallorca, the same as Lorenzo (and of course I love him), just a question
what do yo think of his shows, after the races he wins, like "Lorenzo's Land"?
Thanks.

Hi Miguel, Moto GP is a show and showmen like Jorge liven it up! its even better when those people who are showmen are also blisteringly fast on a bike, you should be very proud of him! I think that Dovi's team did a very good job of developing his bike, sure it might not have had the trick bits the repsol bikes had but at Phillip island which is a fast track the bike appeared as fast as Toselands Yamaha and it was handling well, I don't believe it was a "crap" bike as some anti Repsol people would have you believe!

Hey Miguel, I love Lorenzo too! I think his shows and flag planting are brilliant, and he's a great rider, future moto gp champion I'm sure of it, and (speaking as a 21 year old female) he's gorgeous too :) I couldn't ask for anything more! definately deserves 3rd in this poll
