It was great to be at laguna seca to see the battle of he year. Rossi not only out raced Stoner, he proved to all the non-believers that he has a ton of fun still winning and battling in this sport of Motogp. Cant wait for the 2009 season to begin. :)

Dray - when you can drag yourself away from your infantile Aussie-bashing, you might reflect on the fact that every one of Rossi's victories in motoGp have relied on an Aussie - Jeremy Burgess - to make sure he had a bike that could win under him. Rossi is much loved in Australia, always has been - we don't boo any worthy winner of any race, whether Australian or otherwise, which is one of the reasons why the entire field loves racing at Phillip Island. I know it's an adult concept but eventually you may grow up enough to understand.

Wrong Zane there have been heaps of double world champs some even came close to being triple champs Hailwood and Redman both won three races on the same day.

Rossi VS Bayliss ?

is it necessary ?, bayliss was in 6th (2003), 14th (2004), 15th (2005) in MotoGP field, but ok maybe for something new to watch or another fun race for Rossi...

Bayliss is unsurpassed as a superbike rider, former GP riders have struggled to get near him Rossi wouls struggle to beat him on a Superbike IMO, god it would be a show though!

@Harold, actually the English people support Casey, even though you're being ungrateful.

rossi won the suzuka 8 hour with a superbike, was faster than his team mate edwards on the superbike, yes the same edwards who beat bayliss on a regular basis.

Harold. Actually most of us Brits do support JT. We just don't feel the need to shout about it every time we open our mouths (or take to a keyboard). It's something to do with being comfortable with our identity. You wouldn't understand. :)

Remember this thread is about Rossi. JT was rated No7. A fair position and no doubt put there by Brits mostly. No partisan nonsense, just a fair assesment.

Harold who?

@damo, try Rossi and to make the race much more exciting put Bayliss and Max Biaggi as a team VS Rossi alone... :p
