Christ, I almost forgot the main reason for the post!

I have to say (through the gritted ones!) that Valentino this year did the number on everyone to take the title. More importantly was the fact the rider who finished third in last years standings took the crown. We have had three different champs in three years which is only a good thing and lets hope this trend continues. It would be fitting for next years results to be:

1st. Danni
2nd. Jorge
3rd. Dovi
4th. Casey
5th. Valentino

The above would only be on a "It's your turn next" theory. Would be an ideal tho

Rossi destroyed stoner this year,from a 100 points in front to 100 behind, I make that a 200 point deficit for Stoner over the two years..must be one of the biggest beatings ever.....hopefully next year he'll provide Rossi with some competition providing his crutch(wrist)doesn't play up...

You're right though stomr, it could have been different, If Stoner got a penalty because of being overtaken by Rossi at Laguna and then proceeded to take his ball home as everyone saw, Rossi wouldn't have been able to equalize meaning Stoner would have won the championship 1-0....is that your point???
