Last season, I can only think of one motogp race that really had me on the edge of my seat - Laguna. But when I think of the WSBK season, there were many races that had me bouncing up and down. I don't really care if the Motogp bikes go a little bit faster, for me, the thrill is to watch bikes going hammer and tongs and swapping places on a regular basis!!

The complaints about the top 3 riders running out front by 10 to 18 seconds in Motogp is simple, the are extremely talented and if you were to put them in WSBK, the would do the same and run away up front by 10 to 18 secs. Face it guys, if Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa was to go to WSBK they would run away from the others. Then you would all be saying WSBK is boring. Without them in Motogp you would see a lot of the normal talented guys all fighting for the win. It too bad that Motogp gets the best talent, otherwise they would enjoy close racing. Look at the crop of riders in WSBK. They are a bunch of over 30 years old woulda coulda but did not win when in Motogp guys. Or midpack 250 cc Riders.

Plus Whit was sponsored by Durex at the time too... Those were the days when condom manufacturers and tobacco companies ruled!

Both reasons I think! I do remember him saying it was good cos they could identify him when he was upside down in the gravel traps though! Think that was the gsxr cup days, or might have even been on his rgv 250!

Dray, I think Stoner and Rossi would go well in WSBK. I don't think Pedrosa would. Their bikes are heavier than MotoGP bikes, and he doesn't like fairing bashing. He'd get schooled in WSBK.

Joe, I think Earl Hayden or Nickys mom is older than Whitham, and that's where Nicky got his # from (one of this parents). It doesn't really matter who had it first though.

Im still disappointed that there are only 19 bikes there, im not doubting its a quality lineup but a few more on the grid would have been nice.

WSB will always be the Retirement Home for those that were not successful in MotoGP.
So leave it be. I don't see WSB riders using MotoGp as a retirement home. Until they do Lets not argue.
We all know who we expect to see in WSB. Here are some names to come - Melandri, Ant West, Hopkins, Capirex, Hayden, Edwards, Vermulen, Gibernau

Sorry Edwards re-posting.
And I have not included a certain Rider for fear of Thrashings from Man U fans.

You wouldn't be talkin' about Mr Toseland would you Saran??

I gotta agree that when WSBK riders towards the end of their careers start turning up in MotoGP we will all know that WSBK has become the premier class of motorcycle racing. But at the moment the opposite is true so go figure! You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see which series has the most talented riders and the prestige.

Now if your talking about spectacle that's a different argument.
