Bayless couldn't carry Rossi's jock strap with a suitcase... He couldn't beat Edwards when he was in superbike and now he's going to beat or challeng Rossi :?

Simple really, since 4 strokes came in in 2002, they have gotten a LOT faster. WSB's would probably be faster that 500's now, and MotoGP has to be faster, simple as that.

You gotta love the Mullet! Good luck to Melandri and Hopper, they're going to need it.

The bikes for 2009 have probably been developed now, including the 2 kwakas so its a waste of time talking about replacing the formula. All the bikes are running 800cc and a set amount of petrol,so in theory they should all be producing around about the same amount of power.
My suggestion to our problem is to take off all the electronic wizardry and ban development of engines for a set period,a eg could be, for the next 5 years the external engine dimensions remain the same, but internal tweeks being allowed.
My thinking is that when the duck exits the corner its not getting its advantage from the electronic package and the kwak should be able to keep up with it.
king kenny for the kwak team.

Instead of looking at the Big Picture, Hopkins was blinded by the dollars and will now pay for leaving Suzuki. LOL!!! :)

P7272, true, but had Hopper been offered A factory Yam or Honda, I think he would have taken the ride over the money. As it was, Kawasaki weren't THAT far behind Suzuki at the time and they were offering A LOT more money, plus I'm sure promises were made about how good the Kasawaki would be in 2008 before he signed

I feel sorry for John, but as usual Kawasaki show no commitment to racing, they were at the tail of the field in 2008 and what company needs this sort of publicity? I believe it has nothing to do with money as the Kawasaki conglomerate is huge and the moto gp costs would be nothing to a company of this magnitude, I think they realised they did not have the expertise or commitment to continue racing, it is that simple! :)

Bear, don't forget they brought 1000cc to beat a 500cc, if today you put the same amount of money they put to developp the first 1000cc on 2 strokes you will be really surprised with the result.
