Although i have attended the GP @ Donington a lot they never have got to grips with adequate access and leaving the place is always a nightmare be it by car or bike.
The facilities for years have been woeful , the standard and cost of on site food frankly criminal so i''ll not mourn it''s loss.
I just hope Silverstone get it right , i''m sure they will have better facilities for getting out after the racing, all they need is the weather.

Myself only to pleased the Moto GP is coming back to Silverstone,Seen many great Motorcycle GPs at Silverstone,Never seen a MOTO GP at Donnington but seen many other motorcycle events at the circuit, but i cant say i ever seen any great close racing at Donington, its one of the circuits that fails to produce exciting racing, they have had the Moto gp for many years, its time for change a change for the better in my opinion.

"Since 1987 we have continually invested in MotoGP, emotionally as well as financially". Sorry I went there for 4 years and havnt bothered since 2006. The track is great to watch but the facillities for the fans are dire. People have been asking for covered stands and better toilets amongst other things but they have yet to recieve any. You can even tell the last time the loos were painted by the grafitti dating back a decade! Sorry Donnington but when you got the chance of hosting F1 you were all to keen to promise the world and bend over backwards whilst seeing pounds figures rolling over in you eyes. Lets see if youll live up to them like the promises you made to GP fans year after year.

Well Donington Park you've got exactly what you deserve for years of ripping off the British Moto GP fans! Maybe if you'ld spent some money and improved the ridiculous "car park" section of the circuit - the part that splits the field up and produces poor racing, i'd have some symphathy for you. To be honest the rest of the circuit isn't too bad, so we could have had some cracking Brit GPs, just like we used to have at Silverstone ( 1979, 1981, 1983 250cc just to name a few.) NO GP at Donington EVER compared in excitement to those classic races!

First of all, I'm pleased that motoGP is coming to silverstone.... However, not wishing to rain on anyones parade, the decision has nothing to do with whatever we think, as fans, but it would have been a purely financial decision. made on the fact that Silverstone tendered a better price for the event!!!! Now it so happens that we are the ones that benefit from Uncle Bernie f88king off to Donnington. we will get the better car/bikeparks, toilets, concession stands (on tarmac) and in my opinion better viewing (outside nuffield 2) I do hope however we also get the full gp circuit and not the mickey mouse internetional and they do something about the chicane (what i dont know)
thanks Gary
