Shocking......I hate spectating there, only idiot F1 fans think it's ok to pay £100 to watch one corner. Bikers want and expect a little more.

Eurosport loose Moto-Gp, 17 riders, & kawasaki gone, now this! Rossi said that WSB was more interesting & thats from the world champ, along with the electronics on the bikes hey you may as well stand on the side of your local bye-pass to watch a bike go past fast! thats what it will be like at Silverstone, the only thing that is going to happen is the prices will be sky high & little atmosphere, fans seem to loose out to the organisers again ! all of these alterations are all to keep the money men happy & stuff the paying public. thank god Bsb has a great looking year ahead along with a greater line up in WSB new bikes & riders to look fwd to. sadly RIP Moto Gp.

Great news, at last its away from that ****hole, Donington. The racing will be much better at Silverstone, OK its flat and the you don't have Craner Curvers, but thats the only viewing spot with more than one corner, everywhere else is flat or blocked by advertising hordings.
I saw more passing at Portimao in one race than I have at Donington in the last decade, good riddance to that ripoff, ************hole Donington ******* Park.

oh man!!!!!!!!!
allright...
new track layout at donnington was something to look forward to, also the new facilities.
seems terrible when something that we love and have been used to changes out of the blue, but silverstone ain't that bad.
I was there for the WSBK when bayliss fell off twice in the wet and still finished (on the podium i think!?)
One thing i am sorry for is not hearing toby moody introducing motogp from silverstone - he would have been in his element! Just like he was at the first race at laguna, and indy. You could sense the excitment in his voice all weekend.

Things change over time, we just gotta get used to it

What dismal news. Silverstone has always been a second rate track for spectators because of its limited visibility, though there were some great races there (e.g. 1979!). But as they've turned it into Stalag Siverstone with catch fencing overkill blocking out what little view there was, and acres of concrete, it has completely lost any remnants of soul. I gave up going there years ago, and won't be changing my mind.
