Cant decide if this is a good thing or bad...

is it that team green are still testing in hope they can resurect the 2009 season or is it Dorna are worried of others taking the same path & are trying to stand firm??

dread to say this but with economic climate as it is, manufacturers may take the opportunity to race in a more financially viable series. Hence 30+ grid of WSBK.

Beginning of the end for GP??? Certainly hope not!!!

If Carmelo Ezpeleta wants them to compete in 2009 and then allow them to pull out in 2010 they should dump the big bang engine and run the screamer for this year only, I mean it's not as if it will effect their qualifying and race positions much.

Oh wow. The test riders were impressed. So Kawa's pulls the plug on the cusp of victory. :p

Could be they actually listened to Westy and Hopper and built a good bike!

God I'm sick of 'death of GP' predictions. What crap.

Nothing special....tests were already on plan. But KAWASAKI will not start at the GP season. JACQUES impressed, sure, he doen't want to loose his tester place !

I sure hope they will run next season, and have the balls to try the screamer engine....

maybe still at the back of the grid, but then they,ve tried atleast something.

just the sound of that screamer beast is worth to watch motogp races...

i just love green bikes............. so please stay!!!!!

According to motoblog.it, Monster (energy drink, sponsor of Hopkins) will sponsor Rossi in 2009.......

Monster will pay 2,5 million euro's + another 0,5 million if Rossi takes the title....

So there will be green on the grid in 2009 :p

Is there any possibility of somebody like Illmor or KR taking on the whole project?

Certainly Illmor would want to run his engine and KR his chassis but the question is funding. If they couldn't find it several years ago they sure won't now. You have to wonder just how many of the new Moto2 bikes will show up at this rate.
