All very well having red button but you cannot record that on Sky so this is cobblers.

Although the BBC seem to get more post race interviews, the Eurosport team were just so much better to listen to.

I used to watch on Eurosport, flick over in the adds to BBC and then back to Eurosport.

Still, with the numbers on the grid, and the strength of Brit riders in World Supers, how much difference will it make, still gonna watch it

@ Dan you are totally missing the point.. Commentry is irrelevant The fact is the BBC and DORNA are taking away pretty much 50%-60% of the weekend now with no Practise or Qually that you cannot record. For the hardcode fan or just plain FAN of GP this sucks like a 2 dollar *****. Not sure what bandwagon you are refering to, guess you are glad to be paying the beeb loads of cash for stuff they tell YOU to watch, I thought this was a forum to vent your spleen.. the wagon must have stopped to pick you up eh!! :p

Unfortunately the bbc is pandering to the likes of Paul, i.e. the 'casual fan of Motogp' (casual fan ? how the **** does that work!!), so the real fans (that is, those who will still be watching post-Rossi) have to now put up with dumbed-down presenting by dumbed-up presenters, but thats the bbc all over.
Moody, Ryder and Mamola spend their time at the circuit finding out whats going on and then relaying that to the audience, what Parrish and Cox do for the weekend, whilst not killing off the old and weak with their mindnumbing commentary, is anybody's guess.

I guess dorna know what disaster bbc are and unpopular to the majority of bike racing fans that now especially now they are skint trying to motogp alive they are relying we will subscribe to their web site so we can watch the coverage we have become used to over the years. Looking on other forums there are very few people who prefer the bbc so called experts on what i am not sure, and the ones that do probably work for the bbc. barry

The one thing Dorna doesn't know is that are people that at some point during the race just keep watching it thanks to Toby, Moby and Mamola!

Wait until you see the audiences after the first few laps, when there's no more points of interest because the 800cc sucks and there's no overtaking or any other fights!

The personal insults to Perry, Parrish and Cox are uncalled for and out of order but rest assured, the BBC will run down MotoGP coverage and make it secondary to other sports. They recently previewed their sports coverage for 2009 and MotoGP wasn't even mentioned!
The fault lies with Dorna, they have shown an ignorance of the sport and the fan base which will put GP back to where it was in the 1980's. They'll only listen when the money stops coming in.

Unbelievable. If the BBC had even a gram of common sense, they'd have hired the Eurosport team to at least give their limited coverage some sense of authority. As it is, we've got a MILF, an Aussie who knows a bit about cars, comedy rider Parish and some young haircut wandering around the pits.

Still, looking on the bright side, their coverage is so poor that we won't see or hear any of that mob. Thanks, BBC. Really worth my licence fee. Another prime example of someone securing the rights to something just because they can and not because they can offer the viewer any added value.
