Eurosport was the basic acceptable standard, you are not meeting this standard. Therefore your product is inferior.

All we need now is "ride it like tonto" commentary every weekend instead of the decent commentary team we are used to.

So hang on a minute??
If This Belinda Lady, or the BBC listen to feedback, WHY after around 90-95% of people who Commented on CRASH.NET, Complained about the BBC 2009 commentary team being Basically ***** and knowing this, why after all the Feedback and comments did they not employ Toby Moody, Julian Ryder and Randy Mamola?

So the BBC and yourself obviously dont listen!

Dear 'Deanocoops',

As I said before we do listen and as a result we are looping all our red button coverage to allow you to catch it again if you missed it live. We have taken on board what people have said about the commentary and presentation but I think we would also be doing our million + viewers a diservice if our entire editorial view was dictated by posters to crash.net

In all honesty the Beeb's MotoGP coverage isn't that bad. What would make it perfect, however, is getting rid of [edited]

If you would like me to continue to engage in this conversation could we dispense with 'this Belinda lady' and 'this woman' there is no need to be rude.

I have worked on MotoGP for the last 8 years and WSBK, World Rally, BTCC before that. I care passionately about the programmes and the sport and put an enormous amount of work into our coverage as do the rest of the team. As I said in my response commentary is subjective and whilst I take on board all the views here on this particular issue we are going to have to agree to disagree.

Ah so Dorna are responsible for the BBC not using Ryder, Moody and Mamola? Hmmmm....

Plus I simply do not believe that Cox and Parish etc are very poular. Pretty much EVERY part of the UK Motorcycle community (not just on this forum) has expressed that the BBC team are not a patch on the Eurosport team when it was revealed they would have exclusiv rights.... A collective groan could be heard around the country...

Please answer this BBC... Why did you insist that you wanted exclusive rights when your coverage will be far inferior to Eurosport. I am forced to pay your licence fee as are millions of others yet you have ignored public opinion and carried on regardless....

Typical...
