It's a good thing Rossi wasn't arrogant or flamboyant in 2001 & 2002. Other wise calling Jorge that would be hypocritical. Oh wait.......

As a language tutor I know how misunderstood people can be when they are less than fluent in a target language. Spanish and German people suffer the most from accusations of arrogance because of underlying language structure. Sure, he's a cocky little git - planty of reasons for that - but I don't think he's as black as a lot of people on this board paint him. Add the whole Spanish 'matador syndrome' to unnatural English and unfamiliar body language and you've got a formula for unpopularity. But watch him ride. Remember the guts that took him through rotten injuries. Watch the sportsmanship, which so many other riders lack, developing. This is a great world champ in the making.

The reason most warmed to him last year (including me) was the fact that he kept on chucking himself down the road, nearly killing himself or badly injuring himself and yet he still got back on the bike. Riding with two fractured ankles was lunacy to most but not to J-Lo. This year some of the warmth has faded due to his over the top wage demands...wanting parity with Vale despite not having the same amount of success or ability to sell the same amount of Yamaha's.
He's still great for the championship and i must also add that i have warmed a little to Dani as well...and then i see his manager and want to smack them both!
BTW i saw Dani smile in person at Donny...honest i did :p

JL has 2 problems, he will never beat Rossi and knows it.... and once Rossi leaves, Simonicelli will probably take over, abeit not as dominantly.

Serves him right for waving the flag of catalan Nationalism on his barcelona crash helmet, stupid lolipop licker.

Lorenzo is still arrogant? Oh please. The guy obviously learned alot of his own and moaner's behaviour.

He takes beatings very well, doesnt use excuses alot, is nearly always in a good mood and rides like a demon without whining!

Jorge is doing GREAT!

Looks like the Rossi haters will make robots and arrogrant pricks who seem like they can beat Rossi into angels to justify why they need to climb onboard their wagons.
