Sorry I don't know the Honda guy.
The info about Rossis crew is straight from their website. Yes his team and working environment are very important for him, he needs the quiet working atmosphere. He also asked specifically to have Furusawa (M1 designer) around so as to be able to give direct feedback.

Thanks Morgue
I hope you are correct and thanks for the call back. I met Bernie twice momentarily and he has that instant likeability. Im not quite a total Rossi fan but Vale has many times shown a loyalty to his crew and friends that shows a measure of real life.
Bye the bye, any idea of what happened to the Aussi big guy name of ****ie at HRC that did not go to Yam with the rest of the crew?

Thanks Waz  Often the Italian Press gives extended information.

Ansiau, Briggs, Coleman and Stephens are still in the Fiat Yamaha team as mechanics, Flamigni data technician, Brivio team manager, Burgess crew chief.
They actually interviewed one of the Aussies (Briggs) after the race in pit lane.

If you are around do you know what happened to Belgium Bernie Ansau? I missed him in all the videos or did he trade places with Alex Briggs? I also didnt see Gary Coleman but other new faces. Any news on Vales crew?

Top speed is a moot point of relevance in putting together consistently quick laps.Anyone watching the weekend proceedings will take note of lap and sector times.Rossi 3 tenths up in the first two,Stoner up 5 tenths in the 2nd two.
Yamaha and their four riders got it superbly right on the night. For Ducati it turned pear shaped bar Hayden.Honda??? Well the jury's out right now.

In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport Brivio explained that they are worried about the topspeed deficit, especially naming Honda. He hopes they can turn it around but it is difficult because of the engine restrictions.. "Let's hope we can quickly find some small solution to patch the situation."
Even though Rossi ran out of gas Brivio explained that the data readout showed that the auto leanout program wasn't activated. He had full power until the end.
Valentino's comment about it was golden: "The great Enzo Ferrari used to say that the best race machine is the one that breaks down just after the finish line" :p
