Obviously a lot of you have never ridden on a track and had some one cut across into your draft.
When someone does that it screws with your times and causes a buffeting in your slipstream wake and it upsets your rhythm not to mention how you feel with your setup at that particular point on the circuit after that has been done to you.
Also some riders do it in such a way that you're not really sure whether you are going to get hit or not.
That's the real reason to be annoyed at someone especially if the are not a part of the regular circus and you have never had to deal with them before.
For CS to be aggressive on the track especially sticking out a foot or elbow is a reminder to the peons that if you want race you have to be aware of the faster and slower riders and not in your own selfish world.
My tuppence worth.

If he wants to learn some thing shouldn't he be learning from Rossi. They are both on Ducatis so it makes sense. Oh hang on Rossi wasn't there. And Karel is a threat to Rossi. Ego and loss of focus. Instead of moaner to stoner he should have been spending time testing.

still trying to figure out who got mad here?

I just find it funny. If following Casey gets him so upset I'd be tempted to do it all the time just to wind him up and for the laughs.

It is good to see Karl and Casey have sorted things out in private later. What Karl did by going to Stoners garage and say what he did was wrong and unprofessional,I blame Karls ,mechanics or minders for not stopping Karl from making a fool of himself
,immature and egotistal come to mind.It is better to let things calm down and talk about it later.
It takes a cool temperment, determination, skill an win races. and riders who havent got it or are loosing it,,get frustrated.

I take it that everyone has forgotten about Tracey's 2006 season when he wasn't doing quite as well as he is now. As a rookie in a new class surely it is only natural to do all you can to learn and improve, even the mighty 27 did it but nobody made a song and dance about it like they do now. What short memories some people have !!

Blocking him to make a point about tailgating is 1 thing but barging into him deliberately and trying to run him off the track is totally out of order. If it was Simocelli that was banging into people (deliberately) I can only imagine how many of the puss## riders would be calling for him to be banned, not to mention all the blinkered fans who don't like him just because Rossi does

"@ have some manners stoner, you don't own the tracks"

Fascinating comment and great for you that 65 people have agreed but it does not relate to this topic - Karel nearly ran into the back of Stoner during testing then went round to his pit to complain.....

I've read the whole comments and notice a lot of Stoner haters lol. But here's my take: Karel has every right to follow whoever the hell he wants but he should of known that its a practice session and a rider up front is practically testing setup so the person will be deliberately slower in some corners than other to see how the bike works. I agree with anyone that says its the person behind that should be on his P's and Q's if anything. But it's nice to hear they both settle their differences already.

re: "I like both of them but if I was in the Championship I would be certain to follow Casey every session."

i'm sorry, if anyone's riding at the grandprix level and you STILL need someone to show you the fast line around a track...? you should seriously consider updating your resume and start looking for another way to fritter away their days. what's next, casey (or anybody else) wiping their tushy...? the only thing chasing works HRC kit around the block will do is serve as a constant reminder that somebody thought it good for a laugh to bolt handlebars to utter ****e. that's the ONLY thing it will do.

ummmn, karel did you just ambush casey in his pit box like you're lorenzo or simoncelli...? need i remind you that you ride a SATELLITE ducati and this is mugello NOT brno...? regardless of what happened, at the end of the day, casey's world champion and you're world "nothing". if it was important...? like say safety related...? then you need to walk your happy azz to race control, not another rider's garage. get it together... rookie.
