Q&A – Dani Pedrosa

The next test is in Qatar, at night, conditions that are very different to those that you are going to find in the rest of the season.

Dani Pedrosa:
Yes, it will be a test that focuses more on the first race, but we'll have to get the most out of it for our machine.

Q:
There is a change in your garage with Alberto Puig now your team manager; do you think that it will affect you in any way? Have you noticed any differences?

Dani Pedrosa:
At the moment, it's the same as before. Things are running smoothly but if we have any problems, I hope that they can be corrected more quickly, as he is a person who says things very clearly.

I think people are unduly harsh on Pedrosa. A top 5 rider Moto GP rider for the last 5 years can't be that bad, can he? And remember, he's only 6kg lighter than Stoner and 8kg lighter than Capirossi.... Honda have lost their way a little since Rossi and Burgess departed but I'm sure they'll find it soon. Remember also the Yamaha M1 is excellent, and Yamaha have 9 times WC Rossi, 3 x WC Lorenzo (is it 3 times?), reigning WSBK champ Spies and 2 x WBSK champ Edwards. The combination of good bike and great riders is making HRC look worse than it really is.

sounds like the same rubbish we've been hearing for the past 4 years........truth is Pedrosa is lost and HRC can only do so much the rest is up to the rider...I think HRC will give this guy one more year and he is out the door. I think Stoner is the man who will be on this bike next year
