Interview with Bradley Smith

I want to put the bike where it deserves to be. We have seen this year that the Yamaha at certain races was on the podium with Dovi and Cal. It was a consistent top six finisher.

So that is where I have to put it, whilst understanding that I am a rookie and it is going to take a bit more time. By the end of the season I need to be putting that bike where it is capable of being.

Whoa! Steady on guys- for a start Bradley Smith is faster than literally 99.99% of the population. Don't give the guy a hard time. People like Rossi, Hayden, and Melandri have demonstrated that without a good bike under you results are impossible to come by. The Tech 3 Mistral wasn't great and it's fair to say that the better funded teams had access to 'preferential' parts and could invest in more development. Think of all the extra testing Elias and Marquez had when it wasn't banned. No, Smith isn't the next Marquez but then who is? He's a solid, fast rider with a great work ethic and is a top PR man. Bradders, I'm rooting for you in 2013.
