There is a converse to your comment. Ducati a small factory, offers Rossi the salary Yamaha a mega factory wont. Hector Barbera is riding for a team that did not exist before in GP premier class, same for Aoyama. Cardion will be on the grid next year.

Red Bull can help fund Dovi but whats the point, he is not an alien and not likely to be otherwise on the same bike. Whats in it for them. Honda, signed Stoner, will likely keep dani and have to keep Dovi due to contract clause. Plus they have Simoncelli. They now have essentially four factory riders.

Sorry if don't seem sympathetic to the financial woes of those who clearly can afford it...
