Yamaha management have told Valentino Rossi that he was too aggressive in his defence of third position against team-mate and title leader Jorge Lorenzo in the closing stages of Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi.

I know this topic is a bit out dated but I want to comment anyway.

To me Yamaha made that comment because they are a factory, they obviously appreciate what Rossi has done for them but they also appreciate Lorenzo. At the end of the day Yamaha cares about Yamaha...so they felt Lorenzo should have gotten an easy pass from Rossi. I'm glad Rossi is who he is...Racing is something that Rossi was born to do. This is what separates him from the rest. If we wanted to see what bike is the fastest then why bother with racing lets just do qualifying rounds all day and let the "racers" have clear track...we want to see actual racing and thats what Rossi gives us...the other variables in a race not just the bike.
