Again we would only be surmising what constitutes the make up of the gp11.

Chronology has nothing to do with it. If Hayden felt he was quicker on the gp10 then why wouldn't he revert back to it like Lorenzo has done on the Yamaha.

I would like to think the test riders have trialed the gp11 and have found definite improvements both in the agility of the bike and its times or why would you even bother moving up a revision and offering it to the riders.

The test riders would know based on their own times and data feedback, electronics etc whether they had in fact made ground over the old model.

The gp11.1 experiment was born out of desperation for Rossi and has probably done more to harm their 2012 campaign than to help it.

Burgess always goes with the slow and steady approach usually so these add hoc adventures will not help him. If there is a problem slowly isolate until you find it.
