.....In 2008, 2009 and 2010 Ducati are busy destroying their perfect bike and making a winning bike for a lazy and lesser type of rider....

I'd say the same thing about 2007. Ducati was spending most of 2007 trying to sort the bike out for Capirossi with detuned engines, more tractable power and what not while their number 2 rider was winning races and leading the WC.

I remember thinking "FFS Ducati, leave the bike alone and give Cappa a kick in the @rse instead".
