Interesting. I wondered about Honda's reliability when they had to go away and find some extra ponies for Vinales' bike after KTM's domination during the early tests. Although it's sad to see the last two strokes go, (and sad to no longer hear that magical sound of 'tearing calico') it's a good thing if it ends the difference between the bikes which existed with the Aprilia engines. Hopefully we'll have more riders with a chance of getting on the podium, at least while the bikes are still in early development. Danny Kent's pre-season form has been very encouraging for UK fans too, which I'd like to think would help ensure uninterrupted BBC coverage of the class - well I can dream, can't I?
