Really? Who? Anyone who last weekend beat a whole host of GP winners (Elias et al), and finished within a few seconds of one of the best funded riders on the planet?

The British scene just isn't that strong. Look at those leading BSB and BSS. Guys who have not made it at world level and are now long in the tooth. Good riders of course, but they wouldn't compete against most on the Moto2 grid.

One or two waiting in the wings in WSBK agreed. Sykes, Rea and Haslam. But again they are struggling to beat guys (Melandri, Checa, Biaggi) who have had their day at GP level.

Our riders in Moto2 are the class acts and we should all be supporting them. Money does get them their, allied to their underlying talent. If they had Repsol/Santander money they would be regularly giving Marquez a run for his money.
