I don't see Bradley Smith being ready yet. If the bike is not competative than get it sorted out and finish in the top three. When was the last time you seen someone promoted to a higher status class when they were ranked (currently) in 7th.

Nicky Hayden is probaly going to lose his ride in MotoGP and he hasn't (IMO) been on a competative bike since his championship winning 900cc Honda. The 800cc Honda obviously was not designed for him and was only really competative in Danis hands for 2007 & 2008 and we all know the situation with the Ducati.
