For those who doubt the possible engine advantage of a rider in Moto 2 then you really should read the rules for Moto 2.

If you think another team/rider has a better engine than you it's not even possible to protest it. All you can do is actually complain about your OWN engine and if it's found to be LOWER than a certain limit you'll have it replaced. Even then it's a very complicated and expensive procedure and will do nothing to address the issue of one or two particular individuals being shockingly quick.

In short the rules in this class are perfect for manipulation by the organisers and it's just another symptom of how GP racing has been perverted by the Dorna bandwagon.
