BTW @TalentFan CRT bikes do not run superbike chassis or engines.

Production based chassis are not allowed as even under CRT rules the chassis must be a prototype under the FIM definition.

Superbike spec engines simply would not last long enough for a grand prix season. CRT teams have to make 12 engines last a season, superbike engines last about a race each. FWIW MSMA riders are allowed 6 engines unless they are rookies in which case they are allowed 9, there is no extra allowance for rookies on CRT bikes.

The reason the engines are production based is that you simply couldn't develop a whole new engine for what amounts to less than half a million euros if you were running two bikes.
