That's true and also as Dani has shown lightweight can be a disadvantage at some circuits. Some circuits are very physical and require strength and stamina. Lightweight riders don't tend to have the strength or leverage and it tends to wear them out.

It's not nearly so black and white as Scott would have you believe. Claiming that size is more important than skill is to overstate the matter. Size has it's advantages and disadvantages, but the way Scott talks you'd think any smaller rider no matter how useless could win in Moto2 and that clearly isn't true.
