Its been stated this year by many Yamaha and T3 people the differences between the Yami Factory team and Tech3 are minimal at best. A good crew and setup can overcome and easily surpass any lack (perceived) of equipment.

Cal is running great this year because of his crews setup ability giving him confidence. Last year he was terrible with what 7 DNF and a 12th place overall? Nice improvements, but his results would be no different if he was in a factory ride.
