Jorge could care less about race wins and will continue to let Dani through and settle for second. This is the first race on this engine, not the first miles and it has a few more QP and races to get through. He isn't going to push it and risk a DNF at Valencia that throws away the championship. I'm sure its tuned conservatively to make sure while the other M1's are doing the durability testing (Spies blows a motor, CC runs out of fuel)

Now that Casey is back and he can finish a comfortable 3rd there is no reason to fight and take the risk when an engine down on his rivals.

Dovi has not been and will not be a rival or factor into the championship
