Here in New Zealand we have enjoyed Motogp, Moto 2, Moto 3 and motogp qualifying live on Sky sports. This year Sky are not providing any coverage as they were unable to reach agreement. Apparently TV3 (Free to air channel) are going to show a "highlights" package. The only option us true fans have is to subscribe to the official web coverage, which I must add is excellent. However it appears that once pay to view tv is involved you are on the road to monoply with nowhere to go should the pay to view channel pull out. Needless to say there has been quite a campaign to get sky to take up motogp again but once it comes down to money all the protests in the world are in vain.
