Following last weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix and Monday’s post-race Jerez test, Ducati MotoGP riders Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden were back on track for a private test at Mugello.

Mr. Fox is quite correct and in any case Dovi will be ahead. If the Duc gets ahead it will be with Dovi - Hayden will be getting a good tow and be somewhat close by. The truth is that Ducati sort of lucked out in 07 and to a certain extent in 08 in GREAT part due to the vastly superior BS front tyre (and competitive rear). As mentioned, a tyre "one for all" has hurt ducati - as the tyre advantage evaportated. The truth is that had Rossi Michelin tyres in 2008 he would have NOT won the WC !! (which is why stoner was angry as chit when Rossi announced his switch to BS).
