Just when Jorge Lorenzo looked to be getting the better of his Qatar tyre misery, the double world champion was dumped out of the lead on the opening lap of Sunday’s race.

man...just read that his engine may have been damaged possibly by an ingested part.

Bummer when the engines are limited...very disappointing in a competitive event like this that all factory riders just got handed another advantage for free...JLO maybe limited to 4 engines this year.
