Yes, Stoner was that good, he was the dominant rider in the time he raced GP .
You dont have to match numbers with anyone to be considered great. What if Marquez wins 14 -15 races a year and wins 5 straight world titles then retires. He wont have the championships that Rossi has, or the wins that Ago has, but would be considered the greatest. If you go strictly by numbers, Ago is much better than Rossi because he has many more championships and wins, but we know thats bs, right.
