Rossi rides at Sepang.

Despite stitches in his left hand and foot, Valentino Rossi took to the track for the first day of official 2009 MotoGP testing at Sepang on Thursday.

The reigning six time MotoGP world champion fell through a glass table while closing some curtains at home in Italy earlier this week and needed six stitches in his hand and another six in his foot.

Rossi, riding in full Fiat race livery but still with his black winter-testing helmet design, took to the track just before midday.
