* Friday morning free practice removed for all classes and all MotoGP practice sessions (including qualifying) reduced to 45 minutes.

* Electronic and hydraulic launch control systems and electronic suspension systems banned.

* Each MotoGP rider will be restricted to a maximum of five engines for the final eight races of the 2009 season.

They can really save money by eliminating practice and drawing straws for grid position. Then make the races three laps long. Who needs spectators, they are a waste of time and money! I guess the new chant this year is ' Thank God for World Superbikes!'
