Tech 3 unlikely to show colours before Jerez.

Tech 3 Yamaha riders Colin Edwards and James Toseland look set to continue with a plain black livery on their YZR-M1s at next weekend's Qatar test.

The satellite Yamaha team, which has been without a title sponsor since Dunlop in 2007, raced in a 'logo-less' blue and yellow last season - but rumours have been circulating that former Kawasaki sponsor Monster Energy may back the team in 2009.

“I'd love to tell you what colours we will be racing in this year but, and this is not because I don't want to tell you what is happening, I've still got no idea,” Poncharal told “However I'm really confident that by 'GP zero', which is Jerez at end of March, we will have the right colours and maybe before. I'm working on it...”

The Jerez test marks the last track action before the first round of the 2009 MotoGP World Championship takes place at Qatar on April 12.
