Monday MotoGP test times - Qatar.

MotoGP lap times from the second night at the Qatar test, held at Losail.

After Sunday's rain interruption, track conditions improved on Monday, although it was still cold and dusty. The main news was that Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa suffered hand and leg injuries during an accident.

The test marks the return of Kawasaki, running Marco Melandri in its new 'unofficial' format under the name of 'Hayate Racing Team', while Guinea Ecuatorial Team's Sete Gibernau is absent due to a shoulder injury.

Testing concludes on Tuesday night. The opening round of the 2009 MotoGP World Championship will also take place at Qatar, on the evening of April 12.

Dear Taz and Co. You girls whine when Stoner says the wrist is OK and whine when he says it is painful. I think we all know who the biggest whiners on are dont we!!! He has still been fastest at both tests which is the real reason we see all the crying and moaning on this site. Just for your reference Stoner had the most problems of any track at Sepang last suprise it was sore after having a wrist operation and then testing there soon after his intial recovery period. If he dominates Rossi again this year like he did in 2007 the whining and moaning will be louder than ever.

I love all the JT apologist. "The track was too greasy" or "he's just taking it easy" or "he's not used to Bridgestones". LOL! He's 3 seconds off the pace on the same track that everyone else is on!! Colin hasn't used Bridgestones no more than JT and is 2.5 seconds faster! And who goes to a test to "take it easy"? What exactly can he be testing by taking it easy? Making sure the wheels roll? Give me a break - no one wants to blown away by their team mate.
