125: Simon fastest at Qatar test.

Julian Simon and Aspar Aprilia team-mate Bradley Smith once again held first and second positions during the final day of pre-season 125cc testing, at Qatar on Tuesday.

Ahead of this weekend's season-opener at the same track, Simon edged out Smith by 0.1sec - despite a Tuesday fall - although Bradley's pace-setting day one time remained unbeaten.

Team ISPA's Andrea Iannone was third on day two ahead of Sandro Cortese (Ajo), Stefan Bradl (Kiefer) and Scott Redding (Blusens).

Marc Marquez was seventh on the factory KTM, but almost one second behind Simon.

First free practice for the Qatar 125cc grand prix takes place on Friday evening.
