These pictures (see below for full sequence) show the moment when Valentino Rossi won Sunday's Grand Prix of Catalunya with a shock last-turn pass on team-mate and home hero Jorge Lorenzo.
The pair had battled for the lead since the first turn, and already swapped position three times on the last lap - with only the fast final right hander between Lorenzo and his second victory of the season.
But Rossi can never be counted out and the reigning six time MotoGP world champion made an impossible move work by diving for the inside and crossing the finish line 0.095sec ahead of his Fiat Yamaha team-mate.
“It was to the last breath” said Rossi afterwards.
Catalunya marked the first time since Estoril 2006 that a MotoGP race had been won by a last lap pass.
Rossi, Lorenzo and third placed Casey Stoner are now all tied on 106 points at the top of the MotoGP World Championship after six of 17 rounds.
