125: Webb: Close 125 racing good fun.

Danny Webb has admitted he'll take out best friend Scott Redding if they are fighting for home victory at the final turn of this Sunday's 125cc British Grand Prix - and he knows Redding, last year's surprise winner, will do exactly the same to him!

“There is a lot of close racing and bashing handlebars in the 125cc class. It's good fun," smiled Webb. "Me and Scott are best friends off the track, but I'd take him out at the last turn if we were fighting for the win and he'd do the same to me! As long as it's fair it's no problem."

Webb has taken a best race finish of eighth twice this season for the DeGraaf Aprilia team and sits 14th in a championship led by Julian Simon, a rider Webb can't help but admire.

“Some of the things Simon has done with a 125 this year - like backing it into the corners - have been outstanding,” he said.
