Edwards spends day with army.

Monster Yamaha Tech 3's Colin Edwards spent Wednesday visiting Camp Atterbury, near Indianapolis, which included the chance to fire weapons and chat with the troops.

Edwards, currently the highest ranked satellite rider in the MotoGP World Championship, is often seen at races wearing a US Marines baseball cap and is an avid supporter of the military.

Edwards made the visit during MotoGP's summer break, which ends with the Czech Republic Grand Prix on August 14-16.

The American will then return to Indianapolis to take part in the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on August 28-30.

Colin is the best American on the grid. And he supports his troops. We (UK) need sportsmen/women like him who aren't afraid of the namby pamby self righteous tw*ts to speak up and show their support for the troops who have a sh*t job to do.
