Perry named dream passenger

BBC MotoGP presenter Suzi Perry has been voted the UK's 'dream pillion passenger' - beating pop star Kylie Minogue, MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

However in the poll, conducted by motorcycle insurance specialist Devitt, 1 in 4 motorcyclists consider their partner to be their ideal passenger - in the absence of any willing celebrity or holy man - whilst 13% would rather ride solo.

“We have been pleasantly surprised by how many people chose their partner as their dream pillion passenger, even if some respondents did admit that their answer was influenced by their wife or husband looking over their shoulder,” said William Hughes, managing director of Devitt Insurance Services.
