Casey Stoner crashes out on warm-up lap!
Casey Stoner, winner of the last two races and fastest in all track sessions at Valencia, has crashed out on the warm-up lap and will not take the race start.

The crash means Jorge Lorenzo is confirmed as second in the 2009 MotoGP World Championship.

    I got nothing! Not what I was expecting at all. I saw him pull to the side in turn one and let everyone else go by then WHAM! :) Suppose it could happen to anyone! Just not his year.
