Aleix Espargaro is counting down the days until the start of the 2010 MotoGP season after getting the chance to do some proper testing with new employers Pramac Ducati at Valencia.

Although the Spaniard has now completed four races with the team, with a results series of two 11th positions and two 13th positions, post-season testing was the first opportunity for him to get some non-competitive mileage on the bike.

Setting his sights on matching highly-regarded team-mate Mika Kallio, Espargaro wouldn't slip more than three tenths adrift of the Finn throughout the three days, ending up seventh quickest overall on the final day of action.
