Simoncelli favourite to be top 250 graduate.

Hiroshi Aoyama may have won the final 250cc World Championship, and Hector Barbera been fastest of the quarter-litre graduates during the Valencia MotoGP test, but Crash.net viewers overwhelming believe that Marco Simoncelli will perform best out of the quartet of two-stroke riders making the switch to MotoGP for 2010.

The Italian, who won the 2008 250cc world championship and will ride for Gresini Honda next season, received over 70% of the votes in a poll to find who you think will make the most successful transition.

Barbera and Aoyama were virtually tied in a very distant second, while new Suzuki signing Alvaro Bautista received just 5.19% of the votes.

Which 250 graduate will perform best in MotoGP 2010

1. Marco Simoncelli (Gresini Honda) - 70.45%
2. Hector Barbera (Aspar Ducati) - 12.34%
3. Hiroshi Aoyama (Interwetten Honda) - 12.02%
4. Alvaro Bautista (Rizla Suzuki) - 5.19%

Haha! Oh, how disappointed those 70% will be when Pubehead throws that nice factory-spec Honda into the gravel every darn weekend. Should have given that bike to the other Marco, Mr. Gresini...
