Rossi in action today and tomorrow

Record-breaking multiple MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi will get back behind the wheel of a Ford Focus RS WRC car this week at the Bologna Motor Show.
MotoGP title winner Valentino Rossi will be in action at the Findomestic Memorial Bettega held at the Bologna Motor Show today and tomorrow.

The Yamaha rider, who was second at the annual Rally de Monza last month, will again use an M-Sport-prepared Ford Focus RS WRC car as he goes up against the likes of World Rally champions Marcus Gronholm and Petter Solberg, as well as 2009 WRC runner-up Mikko Hirvonen and 2008 Junior World Rally champion, Sebastien Ogier.

Hirvonen is not underestimating the MotoGP superstar: "As far as I'm concerned, all of the adversaries are dangerous," said the Finn, "especially given that the starting line up includes drivers of the calibre of Gronholm, Solberg, Ogier, [Andrea] Navarra and [Mads] Östberg, to say nothing of the great Valentino."

Meanwhile other leading motorcycle 'giants' – such as Andrea Dovizioso, Mattia Pasini, Andrea Iannone and Loris Reggiani - will go head-to-head in the Yokohama Superbikers Drifting contest, at the wheel of Ford Mustangs prepared by Gandin Motors.
