Rossi to start latest Ferrari test

Valentino Rossi to have latest F1 outing in Barcelona on Wednesday and Thursday
Valentino Rossi is to kick-start his latest test in Formula 1 machinery today in Barcelona.

The Italian will spend two days on track at the Spanish circuit at the wheel of a Ferrari F2008 fitted with GP2 slick tyres.

The test, which will be the sixth occasion on which Rossi has tested F1 machinery, comes after the multiple champion admitted that he would be too old to consider a move to Formula 1 once his career on two-wheels comes to an end.

Rossi also conceded that if he did move over to four-wheels later in his career, that rallying would be a more likely option [See separate story HERE).
