An Ohlins technician has confirmed to Crash.net that all 17 bikes on the full-time 2010 MotoGP grid will use Ohlins suspension.

Ohlins supplied 13 of the 18 riders at the start of the 2009 season, with Repsol Honda, Gresini Honda and Scot Honda using Showa.

However Repsol's Andrea Dovizioso joined fellow RCV rider Randy de Puniet on Ohlins later in the season and all Honda riders have now made the switch for 2010.

Showa is a subsidiary of Honda, while Ohlins founder Kenth Ohlin bought back 95% of the company from Yamaha in December 2007.

The Ohlins technician added that he would prefer to have competition from other suppliers.

MotoGP introduced a single-tyre rule for the start of the 2009 season, meaning that all bikes will use a Bridgestone/Ohlins combination in 2010.
