Hayden fit for next test despite surgery

Nicky Hayden undergoes an operation to remove scar tissue from his arm, but will be fit enough to participate in the next MotoGP tests in Malaysia
Nicky Hayden will participate in the next round of MotoGP tests at Malaysia in two weeks time, despite undergoing surgery on his arm.

The American went under the knife immediately after the recent MotoGP test in Sepang, Hayden visiting Doctor Angel Vilamor's clinic in Madrid to remove scar tissue from an earlier operation.

Hayden has been operated on in the past, to treat ongoing arm-pump issues, and after a recent check-up during the latest Sepang test he returned for a 'clean up' operation.

Despite this, Hayden has already returned to the United States and is on course to resume testing at Sepang on 25th and 26th February alongside Casey Stoner at Ducati.
