Rolfo injured at Catalunya

Roberto Rolfo suffers a dislocated shoulder during Thursday running at Catalunya
Roberto Rolfo has suffered a dislocated shoulder in a fall during the second day of Moto2 testing at Catalunya.

Rolfo had set the pace on the opening day of the test on Wednesday but saw his time aboard the Italtrans STR machine come to a premature end when he fell on Thursday morning.

The Italian suffered a dislocated shoulder and was treated at the circuit medical centre before a visit to the Clinica Dexeus in Barcelona, where his shoulder was put back into place.

Rolfo will now head home to recover although he aims to be back on track for the Valencia test early next month.

“I was coming into turn four and I don't know exactly what happened,” he told the MotoGP website. “The surface under the bridge was a bit wet and I went into a puddle. I lost control of the bike and could not avoid it. I wasn't travelling at great speed, but I fell and dislocated my shoulder. I hope to return soon.”
