The start of the second 2010 pre-season
MotoGP test, at Sepang in Malaysia on Thursday, saw Aspar rider Hector Barbera appear on track with a new yellow livery on his Ducati.
The livery reflects the colours of Paginas Amarillas ('Yellow Pages'), which had a smaller presence on Aspar's 125 and 250cc teams last season and now looks to be title sponsor of the Aspar
MotoGP team.
Both Aspar and Barbera are stepping up to
MotoGP this season and had previously used plain black colours during winter testing.
After the first two and a half hours of testing on Thursday, Barbera was sitting seventh - and the second best Ducati - out of the 16
MotoGP riders present.
Fellow Spaniard, and
MotoGP rookie, Alvaro Bautista is the only rider so far to fall, having suffered a low speed accident from his Rizla Suzuki at turn one, at midday.
Bautista, who walked away unharmed, has also shown impressive pace, beating his best lap time from the first Sepang test by 0.4sec to hold an early eighth place.
At the top of the timesheets, reigning world champion
Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) leads by 0.2sec over
Casey Stoner (Ducati), with
Loris Capirossi (Suzuki) 0.685sec from Rossi in third.
Andrea Dovizioso (Honda) is fourth, Ben Spies (Yamaha) fifth and Hiroshi Aoyama (Honda) sixth.
Testing began at 10am and is due to finish at 6pm.
