As a marker Cal Crutchlow's pole in WSS last season was 1.35.8 (faster than the 250's), his best race lap 1.36.8 (about the same as the 250's).....these bikes are nearer than I expected considering this is the first test with the spec engine, so when they're sorted they should match or slightly better the WSS/250 times, which is slightly less embarrassing, but only slightly........
